Purdue Cheer Stunt & Tumble Clinic

Coed Clinic 10:00-1:30  |  All-Girl Clinic 2:30-6:00

  • Clinic is open to high school freshmen and older.
    • Middle school athletes with level 5 tumbling (running full … standing tuck … standing handspring(s) to full) are eligible to register with permission from Coach Solberg (ssolberg@purdue.edu).
  • Work with the 2018 UCA division 1 small co-ed NATIONAL CHAMPION Purdue cheerleading coaching staff and athletes! You can check out our national championship performance here.
  • Work with coach Solberg and his staff to improve your stunting and tumbling.
  • Get two hours of quality stunting instruction and an hour of tumbling.
  • Co-ed clinic will be capped off at 60 participants to make sure groups are kept at a reasonable number. So register ASAP!
  • $100 for coed clinic. $75 for all-girl clinic. Register for both for $150 ($25 discount)

Purdue Cheer "Get Recruited" Clinic
Saturday, August 25, 2018  |  Cardinal Court

  • Open to all middle school, high school and college aged cheerleaders (Grades 6 and up)
  • Cost: $100 and all participants will get a clinic t-shirt!
  • NEW STRUCTURE! Two separate clinics! HS seniors & current college students are one. HS juniors and younger get their own clinic.
    • Keeps numbers lower and helps you get noticed!
    • Senior/Current College Students start time 9:00 am ending with a tour of the facility at 1:30 pm.
    • Juniors and younger start time 1:30 pm ending with a tour of the facility at 6:00 pm.
    • Tentative Schedule
      • 9:00-10:00 a.m. – Seniors/Current college students check-in & at the door registration
      • 10:00-10:30 a.m. – Welcome/Safety-Spotting/Demos
      • 10:30-Noon – Stunting
      • Noon-12:15 p.m. – Break
      • 12:15-1:00 p.m. – Tumbling
      • 1:00-1:30 p.m. – Q&A with Coach Solberg/Staff/Athletes
      • 1:30 p.m. – Tour of athletics facilities
      • 1:30-2:30 p.m. – Juniors and younger check-in & at the door registration
      • 2:30-3:00 p.m. – Welcome/Safety-Spotting/Demos
      • 3:00-4:30 p.m. – Stunting
      • 4:30-4:45 p.m. – Break
      • 4:45-5:30 p.m. – Tumbling
      • 5:30-6:00 p.m. – Q&A with Coach Solberg/Staff/Athletes
      • 6:00 p.m. – Tour of athletics facilities
  • All participants, families and friends who come will get a tour of the newly renovated Purdue athletics facilities!
  • Work with and learn from the Purdue cheer coaching staff and athletes. Learn to co-ed stunt with the Purdue co-ed squad. Work with the Purdue all-girl cheerleaders and other talented cheerleaders from around the country. Show off your standing and running tumbling skills, and learn tumbling and stunting technique from the Purdue coaches.
  • If you’re a high school senior or current college student looking to transfer, this is your chance to show off your skills, work with the staff, and see what Purdue has to offer!
  • Q&A session with Coach Solberg, his staff and athletes to answer any of your questions about Purdue University and the cheer program.

"Get on Track" Cheer Competition
Sunday, September 30, 2018

  • Competition held in Mackey Arena or Holloway Gymnasium... once our basketball team's practice schedule is set location will be determined
  • Guaranteed early start time! Competition will start at 10:00 am
  • Price isonly $150 per team... $100 for time-out division
  • All-girl partner stunt group, Junior High, Freshman, Junior Varsity, Varsity and time-out divisions offered
    • Need a venue to record all-state individual routines? We will once again provide Mackey for only $10 per individual routine (two attempts) - will be done during judges break halfway through the competition
  • Indiana state score sheets will be used. Get great feedback from qualified judges to get ready for state!
  • Top 3 teams in each division will receive a trophy! Grand Champion will be awarded!
  • $10 general admission for spectators
  • All-star teams can exhibit for only $25 per team! Get in front of a crowd before your first competition
    • No spring floor is offered for this
